Smart

1) Started a new job, new company, new country

2) Moved from Pattaya to Hua Hin

3) Cancelled buying a house at the last minute just as the pound dropped against the baht.

4) Got my eyes lasered - I CAN SEE

5) mended broken relationships with family members (say sorry before its to late)

The most stupid thing I ever done is crying in front of my boss. hahaha.

Smart things...

1 Changed my job to move to Phuket.

2 Found my replacement to work at the restaurant.

3 Got in shape and exercised. (Had a health check too)

4 Started participating in TF forums and events.

5 Ignored the little problems and stayed (mostly) calm.

Stupid things...

1 Spent money unwisely.

2 Wrote 3/4 of a novel and stopped.

3 Spent two rainy weeks in England during July.

4 Took on a new job that I know will be stressful and hard-work.

5 Took over Alcatraz Island with a battery of nerve gas rockets in a bid to extort money from the US government to compensate the families of soldiers killed in black ops.

Smart

1) Started a new job, new company, new country

1) Ended a relationship with the right girl and regretted it later

2) Started a relationship with the wrong one and regretted it later but enjoyed it at the time

3) Got soooooo drunk woke up in a strange place at 1.30 in the afternoon (not for the first time) BUT finally realising it was a hotel only 2 minutes from my apartment, could have saved 1,000baht and a mouthful of abuse if i had only walked a little further

4) Drove my motorbike drunk and crashed AGAIN - realising im not a cat with 9 lives decided to do a smart thing and sell it...

5) wrote a BOYS story on the internet forgetting to remove my email address at the bottom when it was posted - and having to explain myself when my g/f discovered it .... ooooops

1) Lent someone GBP1000 which I could not afford and which I now know will not come back for either a very long time or in tiny little instalments!!

2) Forgetting that you can rip the p*ss out of everyone except the boss (unless there is no way he will find out)

3) Thought that this would be Arsenal's season

4) Got rid of my beloved Chrysler and replaced it with a fr**gin Rover of all things (blooming credit crunch)

5) Believed in someone who stabbed me in the back and nearly destroyed me.

smart things;

1) Putting problems aside and working like a maniac to get a good mark in my last degree and producing research material that will be used as a template for at least the next 5 years.

2) Joining TF (yes honestly) and meeting some very good friends who I look forward to sharing a few cold ones with very very soon.(you all know who you are)

3) Believing in someone new and letting them into my heart, despite all the obstacles in our way.

4) Turning down a job in New Zealand as I just wasn't ready at the time (ok, this could also go in stupid things, but at time was right choice)

5) Making the definite decision that, at some point, my future is in Thailand.

Stupid things:

1. Break my right hands ringfinger and pinky while slipping off a rock in Nepal

2.Sever 3 tendons and 2 nerves accidentally in my right hands middle and index finger with a razor sharp Kukhuri knife.

3. Smoked cigarettes for a couple of months while travelling.

4.Smoked extremely huge amounts of top quality marijuana after my fingercut. (i had fun though :wink: )

5. I'm too stupid to figure this one out.

Smart things.

1. Break up with my girl

2. After which I went travelling to Asia for 6 months

3. Cancelling my trip to india to go to Thailand instead (should be number 1 in smartest things)

4.Doing the Annapurna trekking circuit in Nepal.

5.Quiting my job not so long ago, and basically doing nothing for a fairly long time. (maybe not so smart but I'm the only happy face on the street.)

1. Left my company instead of relocate to other department.

2. Let my James Bond ex came back to my life.

3. No proper financial plan before (and after) quit a job.

4. Let my beloved auntie down.

Smart:

1. Drink little less.

2. Be a better Buddhist.

3. Spend more time with family.

4. Realised what I have done was stupid.

1) Trust on friend who not shoul and she lie again and again and i still trust her....

2) stayed free 8 moths not have full time and using parent's money

1) accept and become an english tearcher.

2) get to know a good friend and boss from new part time work and they still contact me for doing some concert and events.

3) i bought a VDO camera with my own money. (first salary)

STUPID THINGS: 1. Not staying in touch with my family in Australia much. 2. Being too generous when i couldnt afford it (jai orn). 3. Being way too serious and negative at beginning of the year. 4. Stressing too much at times and not laughing enough. 5. Taking up smoking again and not enough exercise. SMART THINGS: 1. Finding and moving into my beautiful home and continually developing my gardens. 2. Staying with my gf through tough times so now we are stronger and closer. 3. Taking some risks and making good business choices. 4. Getting my wonderful dog 'Bo' who reminds me every day 'dont sweat the small stuff' 5. Continuing to believe in myself and never giving up.

1.Trusted I'd be paid for some work I did, and lost 100,000 pounds.

2. Thought the Baht would drop as well, 70 became 50, doh.

3. Didn't listen enough.

4. Bought a lot of art/shares at the wrong time, but they will come right.

5. Didn't see someone before they died.

The goods far out weigh the cosmetic bads mostly, life could not be much better.

Stupid

1) Pulled over by a policeman for speeding and I said, "I can't reach my driver's license unless you hold my beer for me."

2) Suggesting to my boss that Victoria's Secret should merge with Smith & Wesson under the new name: Titty Titty Bang Bang. She wasn't amused...

3) On my "out of office" auto response to emails while I was on vacation I wrote: Sorry to have missed you, but I'm at the doctor's having my brain and heart removed so I can be promoted to our management team. Again, my boss wasn't amused...

4) Telling my ex-girlfriend that she had all of the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

5) After I broke up with my girlfriend I said, "I feel so miserable without you; it's almost like having you here."

Smart

1) Getting fired from thankless job (see above).

2) Breaking up with ex-girlfriend (see above).

3) Avoiding expensive speeding ticket by making policeman laugh (see above).

4) Betting my friends that the NY Giants would have another winning regular season.

5) Writing a thesis on the Black-Scholes Options Pricing model.

3. Decided to study in 2 universities at the same time -----> Smart

4. Got a Tin Whistle from TF member ----> Lucky

5. Got a chance to work at Organiziner company and travel company. ---->Lucky

6. Decided not to go out on a date anymore since April. -----> Smart

7. Come back to teach English at English School again after haven't do it for 7 months ----> Smart

NO1. Crying with the boss when there was some conflicts at work. (Not cool!!)

No1.Finished Master within a year.

No2.Spend time to encourange my brother when he faced the tough time.Be there for him.

No3. Make more closed and good friends in 2008 and remain good friendship with the old friends, even we missunderstood time to time.

No4.Working in a very fine financial company hardly affecting by any crissis.

NO5. Being single.

4. Didn't get to spend much on shoes! ( I do care when ppl look at me from head to toe and find that i wear the same pair as yesterday or the other day )

5. Dated a guy ( on TF YES !!! ) who said he was 42 but actually looked 72!!

Smart

1. Signed up for a membership at a gym and have lost 6 kgs

2. Had my hair cut real short and grew it back long and healthy !! ( Can't handle bad dry hair on my head )

3. Kidnapped myself from work to Kanchanaburi and it was great !!!

4. Decided to take an offer to move to the new department where I can be more creative and useful

5. More lingeries!! lace baby lace !!!

- left a nice laptop at home and forgot to lock that damn door, yup.. it's gone. :evil:

- had many shots of sambuca ..tried to be tough and threw up in front of many people. :oops:

- trusted sweet-talkers with my whole heart and gave them the 3rd chance.:x

- worked 13-19 hours a day at home. :?

- spent 70% of my income on cosmetics.. hardly use them :?

Top 5 smartest things you did?

- studied Arts n' other things at home.

- sent apology letters to those that I intentionally/unintentionally hurt (emotionally) in the past.

- practiced yoga and meditation. Changed me a lot. :wink:

- walked away from a player. Life flipped 180' (in a better way now)

- started taking good care of myself, my old/new family.
