Yesterday at night while I lay in bed I have so many things in my head. Thinking of last Sat (26.09.09) job interview with the founder and I recollected? that I shouldn?t choose this job, because he said that he is not sure whether he think of me as his PA or his girlfriend. Moreover he talking about he likes to take a hot bath tub and put salt in, lit therapeutic candle and listen to music while he is soaking himself in a hot bath. And while he is saying that he gave me a gentle and romantic looks.

Me: friends told me that it is unwise to take a job with high responsibilities and work harder than my current work with less pay, and I think they?re right. As a human, nobody wants to work hard but get high pay, and I?m one of them.

The Founder: If I pay you more than your current job, will you still find any excuse?

Me: I?ll think about it.

The Founder: I know your current & previous boss hired you because you are attractive woman because they hired you just to boost their ego. You don?t have to kiss my ass if you work with me.

Me: No, I?m not that attractive woman and I even work hard than some?bla?bla?

The Founder: Yes, you are an attractive woman and charming?.bla..bla?

Me: Thanks for your kind.

After interviewed with the founder. He sent me to interview with other 2 guys, one is a foreigner and one is Thai. The foreigner is less talking he is pretty calm, smile and speak in low tune (not loud), which I think this is make the Kiwi different to other country guys. Then I sent to Thai guy his name is Mr. M a Mechanical designer. He looks at me from head to toe then said:

Mr. M.: have you got any kid?

Me: No, I don?t. I?m single.

Mr. M.: Why you single? Do you know that you are Farang?s type?

Me: Because I?m exotic?

Mr. M.: you must know you are Farang?s type, right?

Me: Because my squares face and flat nose?

Mr. M.: No, you are not that ugly. You are in the middle of beauty but something in you is make woman more beautiful, I think (this Thai guy is sweet talking lol?) Ok, let talk about work..bla bla?bla?I think as a PA you have to be Project Manager as well.

Well, that really challenging & excited me I want this job so much after talked with him.

And on Sun (27.09.09) he called me in the middle of the day while he is in Singapore on his business trip, I was abit shocked that he said he listen a song that I practicing my guitar?. He said it is interesting song and he humming that song to me. I asked myself why he calls while he is in oversea and roaming call it is very expensive.

On Monday (28.09.09) I afraid that he would call me again so I decided to email him said I would accept XX K/month and expected him to return confirm by email. And yesterday evening he calls me again at 7.30 PM but I didn?t answer. This morning I received his email said he will come back with the result shortly after discussed my salary with his partner, but I do not reply his email coz afraid of insecurity.

If the result approved to my requested salary it would make me gone crazy again for sure coz:

1.What if he wants to have sex and I not let him, he probably abuses his power.

2.I don?t want to have affair with ppl who I work with coz it is unprofessional.

The founder is a smart & business man; he is the talker when he told me about his business?., I was so excited and want to work with him for the first start but after interviewing, the hot bath tub with salt?. etc, and PA or girl friend?and etc??.. what a nightmare!!!

I don?t want this job anymore coz afraid of unexpected incident may/might happen. To make it clear I don?t want a husband by force or accident. God, is this the end of my career?

If he tries it on, just say NO!!

From what you say here, I suggest you don't take the job.

I agree with Marc here...sounds like a situation that has way too much risk when you can get the same reward or better elsewhere.

It does not sound like they are interested in what you can do professionally. I would avoid working for such people, there behaviour is unprofessional from the start, this means it will only get worse. Look elsewhere or you are going to enter a situation that will cause you to be unhappy.

I have never heard anyone asking these question at a job interview before. They show you absolutely no respect. Don't accept this offer !!

I would feel uncomfortable if a person who is going to be my boss telling about what he do for relaxing which is so privacy. Its obviously that they disrespected you by that kind of questions from 2 out of 3 guys.

I working with my boss longer than 8 years already, have no idea what he do in his free time (all i know is most concern with work such as he drinks, he doesnt do sport so no goft event for him etc ..etc..) So as my boss that he never asked me what would i do on my weekend.

It's not similar experience yet, it happened to me, many years ago. I'm not attractive woman, A new boss from the state came to work with us, and I always go to his office... One day I got a day off, went to a fitness, I didn't know he was a member there too...

I was wearing quite tight exercise outfit... He looked at me and said "God!! You look so HOT" errrrrrrrrr... I didn't know what to do, i just smile... It wasn't the same anymore...
